It is a biobased, recyclable and biodegradable next generation flexible packaging material that enables the replacement of less environmentally friendly materials with little effort. Paptic® material combines the versatility of plastics, the renewability and recyclability of paper, with the haptic properties of textiles. Paptic was founded to address one of the biggest global environmental challenges, plastic waste accumulating in the oceans. Even though the main driver behind the demand of Paptic® in the market is the need to replace plastics in e.g. single-use plastic packaging, it also aims to replace other materials as well, such as paper and textiles/non-wovens.
