We aim resolve the problem of food insecurity that affects over 2 billion low-income people in the world, who don't have enough resources to access a healthy meal every day. We do it by operating an e-commerce platform of healthy food products that are at risk of being wasted because they have aesthetic or packaging defects or are about to expire. We distribute the products in soup kitchens in low income neighborhoods at 30% to 50% of their market price. Therefore, we are also tackling the problem of food waste, which is one of the main hidden drivers behind climate change, as it emits over 1.3 billion tons of CO2 equivalents and it is responsible for the needless use of 30% of the world's arable land and 20% of the its hydric resources.
