PlayDate is building a pet health monitoring system to prolong the lives of our pets. Our autonomous camera uses AI and computer vision to keep pets healthy and detect early health problems. This is made possible with our product, a camera-enabled ball that streams live video over the home wifi. The ball has two motors inside so pet owners can control the ball via the app and literally chase their dog or cat when they're not at home. This also allows the ball to move autonomously, exercising the pet throughout the day and recording video over time. Longer term, we plan to use this video to do early detection of health problems in dogs and cats.
